
Dr. Marketa Saint Aroman
Dr. M. Saint-Aroman is currently the Head of Corporate Medical Direction – Dermocosmetics & Personal Care at Pierre Fabre Laboratoires, France. Her areas of interest are Atopic Dermatitis and Acne. She was involved in clinical design and methodology in more than 12 clinical trials – in atopic dermatitis field, acne, wound healing, chronic pruritus and diabetic neuropathy. She is member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Vererology (EADV), the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology (ISPD) and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is the author of more than 30 European or American publications and posters. Besides her medical activities, she has a Masters in Pharmaceutical Industry (TBS Toulouse Business School). She followed 3 MOOC digital courses in management (Digital University in Paris), the latest one entitled “Manager and Artificial Intelligency”. Since 2020, she also supervises Patient Centricity activities in Pierre Fabre Laboratoires, and since 2023 particulartly in Dermo-Cosmetics. In Patient Centricity Direction, she is in charge of the definition and dmplementation of patient & consumer centricity strategy, of developing patient engagement, patient empowerment, and improving patient experience with data. She also works with patient associations (AdBoards, Virtual Boards), on how to involve the patients in the studies (design, synopsis, protocol), how to prepare the best tools for patients.
In the cosmetic field, she works in the co-creation process with patients, how to involve them in the conception of a product, in the design of
clinical studies, in the recruitment process and in the services provided to patients. She manages the scientific content of webinars/symposia, congresses and the collaboration with key opinion leaders, patient experts as well as patient associations.
She is the author of publications in Artificial Intelligence in Dermatology / Atopic Dermatitis (JEADV 11.2023). Dr M. Saint-Aroman was speaker in the Forum of Health in Future with a presentation about Artificial Intelligence in Dermatology (10.2023).
