Pr. Alexandro Bonifaz Trujillo is an eminent expert in the field of mycology, serving as the Head and Researcher of the Mycology Department at the Dermatology Service of the General Hospital of Mexico “Dr. Eduardo Liceaga.” He is also a dedicated researcher at the Health Services (SS) and he is a member in the National System of Researchers, Level III (CONACYT).
In addition to his research roles, Pr. Bonifaz Trujillo is a dedicated educator, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His contributions to academia extend to his editorial work, where he serves as the Editor of Dermatología Revista Mexicana and Deputy Editor for Mycoses, Medical Mycology Case Reports, and Current Fungal Infections Reports.
